Hey neighbor!

This week gave us peak Jackson Heights energy. A fresh mural debuted at Roosevelt Avenue and 84th Street, officially launching the Jackson Heights Mural Project. The turnout was strong, the smiles were real, and the mural itself includes a lovely piece by a young artist, Aislin, alongside Noah Bassman.

Then came the snow, softening the streets and making everything feel a little magical.

Even so, the farmers market kept going, and The World’s Borough Bookshop opened its doors for a warm indoor market filled with handmade goods. We are also holding space for El Barco de Papel as the community supports the shop and honors Ramón’s spirit.
