The next dinner is happening Tuesday, July 28, and you can already sign up for that one here. We are also thinking of our Venezuelan neighbors this week after the heartbreaking news of back-to-back earthquakes in Venezuela. If you are able to help, several neighborhood businesses are collecting donations of clothing, food, and other items, including:

A weekly roundup of the best events, markets, and happenings in and around Jackson Heights. Perfect for neighbors who want to stay in the loop and support local life.
Hey neighbor, Jackson Heights is fully in summer mode. Photo credit: Ramy Mahmoud The soundtrack continued at Travers Park, where the Queens Jazz Trail opened with a concert on Thursday, followed by the first Summer Sundays concert of the season. Meanwhile, the World Cup is in full swing, and our little corner of Queens is already showing why it is called the World’s Borough. The Jackson Heights opening game...
